The Challenge
Thrive Pilates came to us after attempting to run Facebook and Instagram ads in-house — and getting no results. Despite launching a brand-new studio in Grafton, they were struggling to generate any traction, leads, or sales.
At the same time, their second brand, Ignite Pilates in Coffs Harbour, was also underperforming. With limited brand awareness and few paying members, both studios were at risk of being overlooked in their local markets.
They needed help to:
- Penetrate the Grafton and Coffs Harbour markets
- Generate leads that actually converted into memberships
- Implement a system to nurture and manage leads effectively
Our Approach
We split the project into two focused tracks: Thrive Grafton and Ignite Coffs Harbour — starting first with Thrive Grafton to establish a strong proof of concept.
1. Campaign Strategy & Testing
We designed and launched top-of-funnel lead generation campaigns using Meta Ads. Our team:
- Developed and tested new creative (video and static) tailored to local audiences
- Dialled in the Ideal Client Profile (ICP)
- Ran engagement campaigns to build trust and local awareness
2. CRM & Automation Setup
We introduced HighLevel CRM and implemented:
- A lead capture and tagging system
- Automated booking sequences
- A mapped email nurture sequence designed to convert interest into trial memberships
3. Lead Conversion Path
We directed ad traffic to a simple lead form offer and mapped each submission into the CRM. From there:
- Leads received automated emails and SMS follow-ups
- Staff had a clear system for outreach and follow-up
- Promotional offers (e.g. $99 for 3 classes + free 1:1 consult) were pushed to convert trial members into full-paying clients
The Results
✅ From $0 to $3,000+ in revenue in the first 30 days
The Grafton studio, which had previously brought in zero revenue from marketing efforts, generated over $3,000 in just the first month.
✅ Steady pipeline of leads built within 90 days
By month three, the studio was generating consistent $99 offers and converting 3–4 new memberships per month — each valued at $1,500.
✅ Brand awareness built across both regions
Through targeted messaging and ongoing testing, both studios gained strong traction in their local markets, with Coffs Harbour following a similar path once Grafton was optimised.
